My work
An experienced actor who has also produced film and theatre at a commercial level. In addition to his work in the creative sector Adam has managed several businesses over the years and set up and run his own companies including co-founding Western Edge Pictures, a street food business in London and a restaurant in South Wales. A father of 4 boys! He is enthusiastic, confident and passionate about the art of theatre and screen storytelling and about empowering young people to trust their instincts and follow their dreams.
Since 2016 he was manager and lead facilitator for the charity Street Cones (now Creative Change Collective)developing and delivering creative projects in Scottish prisons, with young offenders and other marginalised groups and has directed many short films using lived experience individuals. Including 'Something To Lose' and most recently 'A Heavy Price' a film looking at the myths vs realities of prison life.
Recent projects include collaborations with Home To Highland Care Experienced Education, Sharing Stories CIC and Heavy Sound. Watch the short film HERE
Adam has lectured in screen acting at Scottish Universities & Colleges including Royal Conservatoire Scotland, Theatre School Scotland, Acting Coach Scotland, Glasgow Clyde College, City of Glasgow College and currently delivers Introduction to Acting for Camera and Screen Acting Professional Practice at Royal Conservatoire Scotland and is Screen Acting Lecturer at Theatre School Scotland. Community Work
Collaborating with Sharing a Story CIC and Heavy Sound CIC, Adam continues the work he began at Street Cones (now Creative Change Collective). A Glasgow based charity born out of Barlinnie Prison and now into its 8th year of delivering drama based workshops, outreach, mentoring programs and film work with youth groups and young people in care and those people living in our prison and delivering our 'Road To Change' LiveStreams and Podcasts some of which can be found HERE.
Delivered multiple projects during the pandemic including online Story Building workshops throughout Scotland to people on Community Payback Orders and in person workshops with young people in the Highlands. Intro Video HERE
