Screen Acting Intensive
3 day screen acting course aimed at equipping participants with all the tools and know-how to deliver a relaxed and truthful performance on camera.
Wether you have little or no experience in front of the camera or already have some credits under your belt and are looking to hone your screen acting abilities, these 3 days will take you an an intense and rewarding screen acting journey.
Using a mix of traditional camera discipline and in-the-moment relaxation work you will gain invaluable insights and experience in acting for the screen.
Each participant will gain a short HD studio recording of their work that can be used as part of their showreel and as introduction to agents and casting directors.
Your mentor for the 3 days will be Adam Robertson. Adam has 25 years of professional experience and thousands of hours in front of the camera. As well as his work directing and producing theatre & short films he was the associate producer and co-star of the award winning feature film THIRD STAR alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Burke and Hugh Bonneville.
He has been teaching Acting for Camera for the past 7 years independently as well as schools & colleges such as Royal Conservatoire Glasgow, Langside College, City College Glasgow, Theatre College Scotland

- On-set etiquette, gaining an understanding of industry related roles, equipment and terminology
- Key techniques used in screen acting
- The differences between acting for stage and screen
- How to rehearse and develop a character
- The importance of script analysis
- How to strengthen and personalise your voice
- Movement for screen
- How to collaborate with others in film
- To work with your strengths on screen to create a relaxed, truthful performance
Cost £295 - includes half hour 1-2-1 online coaching prior to the course, 3 day intensive screen acting weekend, plus an edited, digital HD copy of your scene.
